Mr.P.Kannan Kumar COMMON ORDER By consent, these Writ Petitions are taken up and disposed of at the admission stage itself.
2. According to the petitioners, they have submitted individual provident fund loan application for non-refundable loan on 06.06.2016 for purchasing house site to construct house. The 2nd respondent, having received their applications for provident fund loan in the prescribed format, has not taken any action on their applications. The grievance of the petitioners is that they have entered into an agreement of sale, agreeing to pay the balance amount within a time frame, unless their applications for provident fund loan is considered and the provident fund loan is sanctioned, they will be put to irreparable loss and injury and hence, the present Writ Petitions have been filed to direct the respondents to sanction a sum of Rs.3,00,000/-, Rs.3,00,000/-, Rs.2,50,000/- and Rs.1,90,000/-
respectively, as non-refundable amount, from the provident fund account of the petitioners, which is available in the petitioners' credit towards purchase of house plot taking into consideration of the representations of the petitioners, dated 02.07.2016.
3. Mr.D.Soundarraj, the learned counsel for the petitioners would submit that the petitioners would be satisfied, if the respondents are directed to consider the representations of the petitioners, dated 02.07.2016, and pass orders, within a time frame.
4. Mr.P.Kannan Kumar, the learned Standing Counsel, who took notice on behalf of the respondents, has got no serious objection in directing the respondents to consider the representations of the petitioner, dated 02.07.2016 and to pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law.
5. Considering the above submission, this Court, without going into the merits of the claim made by the petitioners, directs the respondents to consider the representations of the
petitioners, dated 02.07.2016, and pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible. It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any opinion with regard to the merits of the claim made by the petitioners.
7. These Writ Petitions are disposed of accordingly. No costs.
