ORDER

This criminal original petition has been filed to direct the respondent to give police protection to the petitioner based on his complaint dated 31.10.2016.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the State.

3. Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that dispute is between the petitioner and his son with regard to a property. On the complaint given by the petitioner against his son Moorthy, petition enquiry was conducted in CSR No.327 of 2016 and the same was closed. A copy of the closure report is furnished to the learned counsel for the petitioner, across the Bar.

4. Since the dispute is between father and son, the petitioner may approach the appropriate forum under the Maintenance and Welfare of Parents and Senior Citizens Act, 2007. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
