This Petition has been filed seeking permission to reconstruct the Cross Objection case papers which have been apparently misplaced and to direct the Registry to process the same, number and post it along with S.A.No. 1478 of 2011.

2. Heard the learned Senior Counsel for the petitioners.

3. The learned Senior Counsel contended that the respondents had filed the present Second Appeal No. 1478 of 2011 which emanates O.S.No. 91 of 2004 before the Principal Sub Court at Pollachi. It had been further stated by the learned Senior Counsel that the present petitioners, who are the respondents in the Second Appeal had filed Cross Objections on 01.03.2012 in Sr.No. 22270 of 2012.

4. The Registry has also put up a note affirming that fact. It is also seen that the said papers were returned, represented and at some point been misplaced.

5. It would only be appropriate that the Court moves forward and permits reconstruction of the said papers so that both the Cross Objections and the Second Appeal can be heard.

6. It is contended by the learned Senior Counsel that necessary permission may be given to reconstruct the Cross Objection papers and direct the Registry to process the reconstructed papers. Necessary permission is granted.

7. This Petition stands allowed.

8. List on 11.07.2025 along with consequential applications numbered by the Registry if any.
