This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent police to register the petitioner's complaint dated 09.04.2021 in view of the order passed by the Hon'ble XV Metropolitan Magistrate in Crl.MP.No.45 of 2021 on 09.04.2021.

2. The petitioner lodged a complaint before the second respondent on 12.11.2022. However, the second respondent did not take action on the complaint lodged by the petitioner. Therefore, the petitioner was constrained to file a petition for direction under Section 156(3) of Cr.P.C.in Crl.MP.No.45 of 2021 on the file of the XV Metropolitan Magistrate, George Town, Chennai. The learned Judicial Magistrate by an order dated 09.04.2021 directed the second respondent to register the case and enquired the same. However, even till today, the second respondent did not register any FIR as directed by the learned

Magistrate. Hence, the second respondent is directed to register an FIR as directed by the learned XV Metropolitan Magistrate, George Town, Chennai in Crl.MP.No.45 of 2021 dated 09.04.2021 forthwith and conducted enquiry.

3. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
