2. Captioned WMP has been filed with a prayer to dispense with production of original of a 'letter of the 4th respondent dated 12.07.2024 bearing reference F.1/Vu.Po(Ko)/2024'

{hereinafter 'impugned communication / letter' for the sake of brevity}.

3. Mr.W.M.Abdul Majeed, learned counsel on record for writ petitioner is before this Court.

4. Adverting to paragraph No.33 of the support affidavit, learned counsel for writ petitioner submits that only copy of impugned communication / letter has been served on the writ petitioner by the 4th respondent. Learned counsel drew the attention of this Court to the Page Nos.1/3

paragraph No.33 of the support affidavit, which reads as follows: M.SUNDAR, J., and K.GOVINDARAJAN THILAKAVADI, J., mk '33. I submit that only the copy of the impugned notice dated 12.07.2024 was served on me by the 4th respondent. The 4th respondent has not served any original of the said notice, for the reasons best known to her. When confronted, the 4th respondent would say that the letter was addressed to the police and revenue authorities and therefore, there was no need for her to serve any original of the letter on me as the President of the Arasur Village Panchayat, inspite of the fact that the same affects the rights of the villagers of Arasur.'

5. Owing to the facts and circumstances of the case on hand and nature of the matter on hand, the above reason is accepted for the limited purpose of dispense with prayer in captioned WMP without expressing any other opinion in this order.
