By consent of learned counsel on both sides, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself. 2.The present writ petition is filed praying for a writ of mandamus, to direct the respondent to consider the petitioner's online application dated 20.08.2024 for effecting sub division and patta transfer in respect of property comprised in SF No.342/2, measuring an extent of 40 cents, SF No.338/3A, measuring an extent of 31 cents and SF No.340/2, measuring an extent of 10.50 cents, situated at Adilam Village, Karimangalam Taluk, Dharmapuri District.

3.It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that petitioner purchased the following properties tabulated hereunder from her vendor vide Sale Deed dated 02.05.2024, registered as Document No.1286/2024 before the Sub Registrar, Karimangalam. S.F.Nos.

Extent (in cents) 338/3A 340/2 10 1⁄2 342/2 18 1⁄2 Petitioner obtained patta bearing No.3054 only for S.F.No.344 on 30.05.2024, in respect of other 3 survey numbers, patta was not granted. 2/6

It is further submitted that petitioner submitted an online application dated 20.08.2024 for effecting sub division and transfer of patta in respect of other 3 survey numbers. However, the above application has not been considered by the respondent till date. Aggrieved by the same, the present writ petition has been filed.

4.At the outset, it is submitted by learned Additional Government Pleader for respondent that the petitioner's application dated 20.08.2024 would be considered and appropriate orders would be passed within a time frame to be fixed by this Court, which was agreed to by the learned counsel for petitioner.

5.In view thereof, considering facts and circumstances of the case and the limited relief sought for in this Writ Petition, there shall be a direction to the respondent, to consider the petitioner's application dated 20.08.2024 on its own merits and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law, after affording reasonable opportunity of hearing to the petitioner and any other interested party/rival claimants, if any, within a period of 8 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any views with regard to the 3/6

merits of the case and it is open to the concerned respondent to consider the case on its own merits and in accordance with law. 6.Accordingly, the writ petition stands disposed of. No costs. 07.07.2025 Index : Yes/ No Speaking (or) Non Speaking Order pam 4/6
