ORDER

This writ petition is filed directing the 3rd respondent to issue a subdivision patta with correct survey No.4/3A1A1 for Plot No.45, situated at V.G.P. Amudha Nagar, Maduravoyal Taluk, Chennai District by considering Petitioner's online application vide No.2023/0105/02/300897 dated 07.02.2024.

2. By consent of both parties, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal.

3. Heard both sides and perused the materials placed on record.

4. It is the case of the writ petitioner that the patta has been issued to the petitioner in wrong survey number. In this regard, the petitioner has given an online application on 07.02.2024, which is pending without consideration till date. Hence, this writ petition.

5. The learned Additional Government Pleader submitted that as per Section 10 of the Tamil Nadu Patta Pass Book Act, 1983, the third respondent himself can modify the survey number and submitted that the representation will be considered within a period stipulated by this Court. 2/4

Such view of the matter, considering the limited relief sought for in this writ petition, this Court without going into the merits of the case directs the third respondent to consider the application dated 07.02.2024 as per Section 10 of the Tamil Nadu Patta Pass Book Act, 1983 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this Order.
