Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for the issuance of a writ of mandamus, to direct the 2nd Respondent to include the petitioner's name in the panel of the secondary Grade Assistant fit to be promoted to the post of BT Assistant and dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 15.10.2012.

ORDER

The writ petition has been filed by the petitioner seeking for Mandamus to direct the 2nd Respondent to include the petitioner's name in the panel of the secondary Grade Assistant fit to be promoted to the post of BT Assistant and dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 15.10.2012.

2. Though the Petitioner has given representation on 15.10.2012 and the same is pending without passing any orders by the first respondent/Joint Director of school Education, the petitioner has prayed this Court seeking direction to the 1st Respondent to pass orders on the representation dated 23.01.2013.

3. I Heard the submissions of Mr.S.Ilamvaludhi, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.A.Rajaperumal, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.

4. This Court, without going into the merits of the case, I am inclined to direct the petitioner to give fresh representation to the first respondent within a period of 15 days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and on receipt of such representation being made the first respondent is directed to consider and dispose of the said representation dated 15.10.2012 by giving personal opportunity to the petitioner and to pass orders, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of the representation from the petitioner.

5. This Writ Petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs.
