This Writ Petition has been filed for a direction to the Respondent to re-issue the Passport of the Petitioner without insisting for fresh Court orders from the concerned Courts and within a stipulated time limit.

When it is pointed out by the Learned Additional Central Government Standing Counsel appearing for the Respondent that the Petitioner has to produce orders from the Criminal Courts, where the proceedings are pending against him, permitting him to depart from India, while submitting his application for renewal of passport, relying on the notification No. G.S.R. 570(E) dated 25.08.1993 issued by the Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India, in the exercise of powers under Section 22 (a) of the Passports Act, 1967, Learned Counsel for the Petitioner seeks permission of this Court to withdraw the Writ Petition with liberty to resort to that procedure and has made an endorsement to that effect, which is recorded. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

Accordingly, the Writ Petition is dismissed as withdrawn granting such liberty. No costs.
