Respondents Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the first respondent to survey and demarcate the boundaries of the petitioner's property situated at Veeraraghavapuram Village, Sriperumbudur Taluk, now Poonamalle Taluk, comprised in new Survey Number 90/2B3, measuring an extent of 14 cents and new Survey Numbers 90/2B2A & 90/2B2B measuring an extent of 10 cents, total admeasuring 24 cents based on the petitioner's application dated 03.08.2021 within a stipulated time.

ORDER

This writ petition is filed to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the first respondent to survey and demarcate the boundaries of the petitioner's property situated at Veeraraghavapuram Village, Sriperumbudur Taluk, now Poonamalle Taluk, comprised in new Survey Number 90/2B3, measuring an extent of 14 cents and new Survey Numbers 90/2B2A & 90/2B2B, measuring an extent of 10 cents, total ad-measuring 24 cents based on the petitioner's application dated 03.08.2021 within a stipulated time.

2. The petitioner submitted his application to survey and demarcate the boundaries of the petitioner's property. On receipt of the same, the first respondent issued summons dated 18.10.2021 to the petitioner and the adjacent land owners to survey the petitioner's property. Thereafter, the first respondent did not take any steps to survey and demarcate the same.

3. Considering the above facts and circumstances, the first respondent is directed to consider the petitioner's application dated 03.08.2021 to survey and demarcate the petitioner's property, after issuance of notice to the adjacent land owners and counter parties, if any and after giving an opportunity of hearing to them, pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order on payment of requisite fees, if any to be paid.

4. With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
