The petitioner would state that he was working in Kuwait, United Arab Emirates and on account of the invasion by Iraq during the year 1990-1991, all of them were driven out and the United Nation Compensation Commission has also floated a scheme for payment of compensation to the persons who have lost everything during Gulf War. The petitioner claiming compensation under the said scheme, has submitted a representation on 01.06.2014 to the respondents and though nearly two years had lapsed, she is yet to be favoured with any kind of response and hence, the petitioner came forward to file the present writ petition.

Heard the submissions of the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.J.Madanagopal Rao, learned Senior Central Government Standing Counsel who accepts notice on behalf of the respondents.

Though the petitioner has prayed for a larger relief, this Court, in the light of the above facts and circumstances and without going into the merits of the same, permits the petitioner to submit one more representation to the respondents 1 and 2 through Registered Post Acknowledgment Due, along with a copy of this order as well as a copy of her earlier representation dated 01.06.2014 within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and the 2nd respondent, on receipt of the same, is directed to consider the said representation in accordance with law and pass orders within a further period of twelve weeks thereafter and communicate the decision taken, to the petitioner. 5.

The writ petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs.
