O R D E R

This writ petition is filed challenging the order passed by the 1st respondent seeking to appoint Administrator for Co-operative Societies whose Board of Directors completed their term of office by efflux of time.

2. The issue raised in this writ petition regarding commencement of term of office of the Members of the Board of Directors of the Co-operative Societies was considered by this Court in W.P.Nos.17736 and 21408 of 2023, dated 09.08.2023. In the above said order, this Court came to the conclusion the term of office commences from the date of election. 2/4

Therefore, the issue raised in this writ petition is covered by the decision of this Court in the above mentioned writ petitions and accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed. No costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
