..Respondents Prayer: The Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 04.12.2015 and reminder dated 20.01.2016 and thereby direct the 2nd respondent to reinstate the petitioner into service from 16.07.2015 with all consequential monetary and other service benefits.

By consent, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

2. The prayer in the writ petition is to issue a direction to the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 04.12.2015 and reminder dated 20.01.2016 and thereby direct the 2nd respondent to reinstate the petitioner into service.

3. The petitioner would state that he is working as Village Administration Officer at Seekarajapuram and Lalapet (Group) Village and Additional incharge of Mukundarpuram (I & II) Village, Walajah Taluk, Vellore District. Since he was made an https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

accused in Crime No.9 of 2015 for the alleged offence under Section 7 of the Prevention of the Corruption Act, 1988, he was arrested and remanded to judicial custody. Thereafter, he was placed under suspension by the second respondent by an order dated 16.07.2015. The petitioner would further state that in this regard, he made a representation to the respondents dated 04.12.2015 and also, send a reminder on 20.01.2016 seeking revocation of suspension and reinstatement into service. Since no order has been passed, the present writ petition has been filed.

4. Heard the submission of Mr.B.Gopalakrishnan, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and V.Jayaprakash Narayanan, learned Special Government Pleader, who accepts notice on behalf of the respondents.

5. This Court, considering the submission of the learned counsel for the petitioner and without going into the merits of the case, directs the second respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 04.12.2015 and reminder dated 20.01.2016 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the decision taken to the petitioner.

The writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
