O R D E R
This writ petition is filed for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus to direct the 1st respondent to dispose of the revision petition dated 23.05.2025 preferred by the petitioner under Section 153 of the Tamil Nadu Cooperative Societies Act within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.
2. With the consent of both side counsels the main writ petition is taken up for disposal.
3. The petitioner joined the Dharmapuri Urban Cooperative Bank as Junior Assistant, in January 1991, and he was to reach superannuation on 30.04.2025. While so, in March 2025, the 2nd respondent Society issued a show cause notice to him in connection with departmental proceedings supposedly initiated against him in 2008. The petitioner approached this Court by filing CRP.No.589 of 2022, and by judgment dated 21.04.2022, this Court quashed the surcharge proceedings and the consequent orders passed thereon. On 25.04.2025, the 2nd respondent issued orders removing the petitioner from service. On 23.05.2025, the petitioner filed a revision petition against the said order before the Joint Registrar of Cooperative Societies under Section 153 of
the Tamil Nadu Cooperative Societies Act. The said revision has been entertained and is now pending on the file of the 1st respondent. As no action was taken on the the said revision petition, the petitioner filed the present writ petition for the aforesaid relief.
4. The learned counsel for the petitioner prayed that it would suffice, if this Court directs the first respondent to consider the petitioner's revision petition dated 23.05.2025, on merits and pass orders within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.
5. The learned Government Advocate appearing for the 1st respondent prayed for reasonable time to dispose the revision petition.
6. Heard the learned counsel on either side and perused the materials available on record.
7. Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and the limited relief sought by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this Court directs the first respondent, to consider the petitioner's revision petition dated

dpq 23.05.2025, and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
