Prayer: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to pass an order of writ of Mandamus directing the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 29.05.2019 for issuance of a joint patta in the joint names of the petitioner, his parents Mr.M.Balakumar and Mrs.Sasikala, based on the patta No.C.A.No.425/P, dated 08.03.1983 which was issued in the name of the petitioner's grandmother Mrs.Selvalakshmi by the Tahsildar, Mambalam-Guindy Taluk.

ORDER

This Writ Petition is filed for a writ of Mandamus directing the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 29.05.2019 for issuance of a joint patta in the joint names of the petitioner, his parents Mr.M.Balakumar and Mrs.Sasikala, based on the patta No.C.A.No.425/P, dated 08.03.1983 which was issued in the name of the petitioner's grandmother Mrs.Selvalakshmi by the Tahsildar, Mambalam-Guindy Taluk. 2.Mr.S.N.Parthasarathi, learned Government Advocate entered appearance for the respondents and submitted that an enquiry is https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

scheduled to take place on 16.04.2021 at 3.00 p.m at the office of the first respondent/DRO.

3.The said statement of the learned Government Advocate is recorded.

4.In view of the above, no further direction is required to be given except that the first respondent is directed to issue notice to all the parties who are likely to be affected by his decision, provide them a fair and effective hearing and to dispose of the matter through a speaking order within a period of twelve (12) weeks from 16.04.2021.
