O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition is filed seeking to call for the records and quash the proceedings in S.T.C.No.2174 of 2010 on the file of the Judicial Magistrate at Alandhur.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned counsel appearing for the respondent.

3. On perusal of the record, it is seen that the matter has already been referred to the Tamil Nadu Mediation and Conciliation Centre, Chennai on 18.12.2016 for exploring an amicable settlement between the parties and after settling the matter, the Mediation Centre has sent its report on 28.04.2017, which reads as follows:

"1st petitioner deceased, 2nd and 3rd petitioners and respondent appeared before the Centre along with their Counsel.

Parties settled the disputes amicably between them and filed the "Memorandum of https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

Understanding" and the same is enclosed. Hence, the matter is sent back to the Hon'ble Court."

4. Recording the Mediation Report dated 28.04.2017 and in veiw of the settlement arrived between the parties, this criminal original petition is allowed and the proceedings in S.T.C.No.2174 of 2010 on the file of the Judicial Magistrate at Alandhur is quashed. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petitions are closed.
