The petitioner, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for an alleged offence punishable under Sections 49, 296(b) and 118(1) BNS Act, in Crime No.600 of 2024, seeks anticipatory bail.

2. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is an innocent person and he has been falsely implicated in this case. He further submits that he is ready to abide by any conditions that may be imposed by this Court. Hence, he prays to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioners.

3. Learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent submitted that the petitioner along with the other accused attacked the defacto complainant and threatened him with dire consequences. Injured had been discharged from the hospital. The petitioner has 14 previous cases pending against him. He is a history sheeter. gd 4.Taking into consideration the facts of the case and the submissions made by the learned counsels, and the fact that petitioner is a history sheeter, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
