ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed to forbear the respondents 2 and 3 herein from conducting the counselling on 04.08.2023 in respect of the Kancheepuram, Uthiramerur and Wallajabad Taluks for the post of Village Administrative Officers based on the District-wise Seniority List dated 24.07.2023.

2.On instructions, it is submitted by the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents that the counselling will be conducted after the period provided for receiving objections in the draft seniority list published by the 2nd respondent, dated 19.07.2023. According to them, there is no counselling for the petitioners today, hence, the prayer sought for in this Writ Petition becomes infructuous. 3.In such view of the matter, the prayer sought for by the petitioners becomes infructuous.

4.Accordingly, this Writ Petition stands dismissed as infructuous. Consequently, the connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
