No.229 of 2002 dated 24.05.2004 and quash the same and consequently directing the second respondent to re-instate the petitioner with continuity of service back wages and other benefits.

When the matter is taken up for hearing, there is no representation for the petitioner. Though the writ petition is of the year 2006 and the same is pending for quite fourteen long years, the petitioner has not chosen to appear to argue the matter today, which shows that the petitioner is not interested in prosecuting the case. Accordingly, the writ petition is liable to be dismissed and the same is dismissed for non prosecution. Consequently, connected M.Ps are closed. No costs.
