Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issue of a Writ of Mandamus directing respondents 1 & 2 to dispose of the representation dated 11.12.2015 seeking restoration of patta in the name of the petitioners family members.

The petitioner made a representation on 11.12.2015 to the District Collector, Krishnagiri, seeking cancellation of patta in patta No.347 in the name of respondents 3 to 8 and to restore the patta in the name of the petitioner's family members in respect of the property situated S.No. 56/1 measuring 4.32.0 hectares at Rangopanditha Agraharam, Hosur Taluk, Krishnagiri District. On receipt of the said representation, the office of the District Collector, Krishnagiri, in and by proceedings in Na.Ka.32218/2015/LR2 dated 15.12.2015 has directed the 2nd respondent to take appropriate action. taken by the 2nd respondent, pursuant to the said proceedings of the 1st respondent, the petitioner has come forward with the present writ petition.

Considering the recommendation made by the District Collector, Krishnagiri, vide proceedings in Na.Ka.32218/2015/LR2 dated 15.12.2015, the 2nd respondent is directed to pass appropriate orders, with regard to issuance of patta in favour of the petitioner, on merits, in accordance with law and after due notice to the petitioner and the private respondents, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
