Prayer in Crl.O.P.No.18460 of 2023 : Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, to direct the 2nd respondent herein to provide necessary Police protection to the petitioner and her family members for their life, in the light of the petitioner's representation, dated 27.06.2023, within a stipulated period as may be fixed by this Court.

COMMMON ORDER These petitions have been filed by the husband and wife seeking for Police protection.

2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor, on instructions, submitted that no enquiry has been conducted till date and requested this Court to direct the petitioners to submit a complaint in person before the second respondent.

3. In view of the above, there shall be a direction to the petitioners to submit the complaint in person before the second respondent and the second respondent shall conduct the enquiry by calling the parties and take action in accordance with law within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of the complaint from the petitioners.

4. These Criminal Original Petitions are disposed off with the above directions.
