This petition is filed to condone the delay of 29 days in filing the above C.M.A against M.C.O.P.No.441 of 2020 on the file of the Motor Accident Claims Tribunal, Dharmapuri, Special Subordinate Judge, (MACT), Dharmapuri.

2.Though notice has been served, none appeared on behalf of the first respondent.

3.Ms.C.Bhuvanasundari, learned counsel takes notice for the second respondent.

4.Heard. Having satisfied with the reasons stated in the accompanying affidavit filed in support of this petition, this petition stands allowed.

5.It is underscored that in the eventuality of the appellant succeeding in the appeal to be taken on record, he would not be entitled to any interest for 29 days.

6.The Registry is directed to number the above C.M.A.SR.No.54365 of 2023, if the papers are otherwise in order.
