Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent herein to pass the orders on petition dated 27.10.2020 with in a time framed to be fixed by this Court.

O R D E R

The petitioner herein seeks a direction to the respondent to consider the application of the petitioner dated 27.10.2020, seeking layout approval within the time fixed by this court.

2.According to the petitioner, he submitted an application to the respondent on 27.10.2020, seeking approval of the layout proposal submitted by him in respect of Survey No.160/2 in Chellappampatti Village, Puduchatram Panchayat, Namakkal Taluk and District and the same has not been considered till date.

3.Mrs.S.Anitha, learned Special Government Pleader takes notice for the respondent on instructions, submits that the application of the petitioner for layout approval will be considered on merits and final orders will be passed.

4.In view of the stand taken by the learned Special Government Pleader, this court without expressing any opinion on the merits of the claim made by 2/4

the petitioner, direct the respondent to consider the application of the petitioner dated 27.10.2020 and pass final orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

5.With the above direction, the writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
