ORDER
The petitioner has filed this contempt petition, to punish the respondent for disobeying the order of this Court in W.P.No.21483 of 2021 dated 05.10.2021.
2.When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the respondent submits that the order passed by this Court in W.P.No.21483 of 2021, has been complied with in terms of G.O.(2D) No.167, Environment, Climate Change and Forests (FR.2ii) department, dated 25.10.2022. Relevant portion of the aforesaid Government Order reads as under:- "7.The Government, after careful examination, accord permission to the Principal Chief Conservator of Forests (Head of Department) for the following if otherwise they are eligible:
(i)To regularize the service of the petitioner Thiru.Velumani, H/o.V.Suseela as in annexure has passed SSLC, hence, his seniority may be fixed in 1995 as per G.O.(Ms).No.01, Environment and Forests (FR.2-II) Department, dated 01.01.2021. (ii)To regularize the service of the petitioners Tvl.K.Ramajayam, R.Radhakrishnan and M.Munusamy as in annexure do not possess SSLC educational qualification hence, their seniority may be fixed on par with Thiru.P.Karuppaiah (SWSL 2/5
No.4608) i.e., 1999.
(iii)To fix their pay notionally from the date on which their immediate junior joined in the post of Forest Watcher as per Rule 27(17) of the Fundamental Rule of the Tamil Nadu Government with a condition, that the petitioners are not entitled to any monetary benefits but they are entitled for counting of service for the purpose of pension and other retirement benefits as directed by this Court order."
