ORDER
The petitioner/wife who has filed O.P.No.2559 of 2023 for dissolution of the marriage with the respondent/husband, has preferred the present revision petition seeking expeditious disposal of the said OP. Page No.1 of 4
2. Considering the nature of relief sought for by the petitioner, notice to the respondent is dispensed with.
3. I have heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and I have also gone through the materials placed before this Court.
4. The major grievance of the petitioner is that the OP is of the year 2023 and though the pleadings are complete, the trial has not yet commenced and the Miscellaneous applications are also kept pending.
5. In view of the above, the VI Additional Family Court, Chennai is directed to dispose of all the pending Interlocutory applications, within a period of eight (8) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and thereafter, shall expedite the trial in O.P.No.2559 of 2023 and dispose of the said OP on merits and in accordance with law within a period of four (4) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after affording opportunity of hearing to the parties. 6. Accordingly, this Civil revision petition stands disposed of with the aforesaid direction. No costs.
