ORDER
By consent of learned counsel on both sides, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

The present writ petition is filed praying for a writ of mandamus to direct the second respondent to consider petitioner's online application in online application No.2025/N123/04/002869 dated 11.02.2025, to survey his property comprised in Survey No.305/3 measuring an extent of 2667 sq.ft., situated in Vellore District, Katpadi Taluk, Dharapadavedu Village, within a stipulated period.

It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner purchased the subject property vide sale deed registered in Doc No.1171 of 2003 dated 13.03.2003 before the Sub-Registrar, Katpadi. Ever since the date of purchase, the petitioner has been in absolute possession and enjoyment of the 2/5
subject property. When the petitioner decided to construct a residential house in the subject property, his neighbours raised some objection with regard to boundaries. Hence, the petitioner filed an on-line application dated 11.02.2025 before the respondents to survey the subject property and has also paid necessary charges. The said application was not considered by the respondents till date. Hence the petitioner has filed the present writ petition.

On this being pointed out, the learned Government Advocate would submit that they would consider the petitioner's online application dated 11.02.2025 and carry out survey and complete the process within a time frame to be fixed by this Court, which was agreed to by the learned counsel for the petitioner.

In view thereof, the writ petition stands disposed of with the direction to the second respondent to consider petitioner's online application dated 11.02.2025 and carry out survey, and complete the process within a period of 8 weeks from the date of uploading of the web copy without waiting for the receipt of certified copy, after giving prior notice to the petitioner, adjacent land owners and other interested 3/5
parties including rival claimants if any. It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any views with regard to the merits of the case and it is open to the concerned respondent to consider the matter on its own merits and in accordance with law. No costs.
