ORDER

The revision petitioner seeks expeditious disposal of HMOP No.194 of 2024 pending on the file of Principal Subordinate Court, Mayiladuthurai.

2. By order dated 09.07.2025, I have called for a Report from the Principal Subordinate Court, Mayiladuthurai indicating the outer time limit required for final disposal of HMOP No.194 of 2024.

3. Pursuant to the order of this Court daetd 09.07.2025, the learned Subordinate Judge, Mayiladuthurai in and by D.No.1039/2025 dated 17.07.2025 has forwarded a Report to the Assistant Registrar of this Court. P.B.BALAJI.,J.

4. On perusal of the said Report, I find that an interlocutory application, seeking interim maintenance under Section 24 of the Hindu Marriage Act, 1955 has been filed and the same is pending enquiry. The learned Sub Judge has sought for six months time to dispose of both interlocutory application as well as main HMOP No.194 of 2024.

5. The request of the learned Sub Judge appears to be reasonable. In the light of the above, I am inclined to allow the revision with a direction to the learned Sub Judge, Mayiladuthurai to dispose of both interlocutory application as well as main HMOP No.194 of 2024 on merits and in accordance with law within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. With the above direction, the civil revision petition is allowed. No costs.
