ORDER
This Writ Petition has been filed to compute the compensation payable to the petitioner in the terms prescribed under the Right to Fair Compensation, Transparency in Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013, towards acquisition of the petitioner's land situated in S.No.298 / 5 (Sub Division made as S. No. 298 / IAIA) bearing plot Nos. 131, 132, 133, 134, 135, 136, 137, 138 and 139 to the extent of 6800 sq ft situated at Sri Sorna Prabhu Nagar, Vallakkottai Village, Sriperumbudur Taluk, Kancheepuram Distirct and to pay the same to the petitioner forthwith along with all consequential benefits and interest accrued including solatium.
2.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that in this case, the petitioner has given a representations dated 24.12.2020, 07.12.2020 &
24.06.2021 seeking computation of compensation. Since no order was passed, the petitioner is before this Court.
3. In reply, the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents would submit that the petitioner's representations will be disposed of by the respondents within a period of twelve weeks.
4. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader for the respondent and also perused the materials available on record.
5. In view of the above, this Court directs the respondent concerned to consider the petitioner's representation dated 24.12.2020 on its own merits and pass appropriate orders, in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
