This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the respondent police to complete the investigation in Crime No.1306 of 2018 and file a final report before the concerned Court, within the time stipulated by this Court.

2. Heard Mr.D.Sivashanmugam, learned counsel for petitioner and Mr.A.Damodaran, learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for respondent.

3. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor, on instructions, submitted that the case was transferred to the file of CBCID and that the CBCID have already completed the investigation and a draft final report is also ready and the same will be filed before the concerned Court within a period of four (4) weeks.

4. In view of the aforesaid submission, this Court directs the 2/4

respondent police to file the final report before the concerned Court within a period of four (4) weeks from today.
