This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondent police not to harass the petitioner without conducting valid lawful enquiry and to investigate into the same to proceed in accordance with law.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents.

3. On a complaint given by one Chithra petition enquiry is pending. Under such circumstances, blanket order of 'not https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

to harass' cannot be passed. The petitioner shall co-operate in the enquiry and during the course of enquiry, he shall not be harassed. However, if any cognizable offence is made out, this order would not be a shield against the arrest of the accused. With the above observation, the Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
