ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed to direct the respondents to publish the final seniority list for Assistant Engineer in Tamil Nadu Agricultural Engineering Department as on 01.01.2022 after duly considering all the objections made therefor. Page No.1 of 4

2.The grievance of the Writ Petitioner is that for the past twenty years, the seniority list has not been published for the post of Assistant Engineer in the Tamil Nadu Agricultural Engineering Department. Though a draft provisional seniority list stated to have been prepared on 26.11.2022, according to the petitioner the same has not been published and not served to the petitioner. The petitioner only on coming to know about the above draft provisional list, submitted his objection on 03.04.2023. Despite such objection was being received by the respondent, the final seniority list has not been published. Hence, seeks direction of this Court. 3.The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondent submitted that as per the draft provisional seniority list, the objection should be made within fifteen days from 26.11.2022. Whereas according to the petitioner, he has given his objection on 03.04.2023. 4.Heard the submissions of the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondent and perused the entire materials.

5.On perusal of the entire records, it is seen that despite draft provisional seniority list stated to have been published during the month of November 2022, no final seniority list has been published till date. 6.In such view of the matter, the respondent shall publish the final seniority list for the post of Assistant Engineer in Tamil Nadu Agricultural Engineering Department, within a period of three months, from the date of receipt of a copy of this order after considering all the objections received in this regard.

7.With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
