This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondent police to provide police protection based on the petitioner's representation dated 14.10.2020.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner has already filed a suit in OS.No.1399 of 2008 on the file of the District Munsif cum Judicial Magistrate, Sriperumbudur and in the said suit a decree was passed on 16.09.2009. He further submitted that in spite of the interim order passed, the respondent along with five others are https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

continuously interfering the possession and enjoyment of the petitioner and they are causing threat to the petitioner and therefore, the petitioner gave a complaint to the respondent police seeking for police protection. Since the same was not considered, this petition has been filed seeking for appropriate direction.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) submitted that the complaint lodged by the petitioner is pending on the file of the second respondent police.

4. Considering the above facts and circumstances of the case, the respondent is directed to issue notice to the petitioner and to the counter parties, if any, after giving an opportunity for conducting enquiry and disposed of the same within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. Therefore, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
