PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the second and third respondents to measure and fix boundary line for the petitioner's patta land viz., agricultural land measuring an extent of 2 Acres 3 Cents comprised in Survey No. 62/2 of Tholapalli Village, Annaicut Taluk, Vellore District covered in Patta No.841, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

The Writ Petition has been filed for issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the second and third respondents to measure and fix boundary line for the petitioner's patta land viz., agricultural land measuring an extent of 2 Acres 3 Cents comprised in Survey No. 62/2 of Tholapalli Village, Annaicut Taluk, Vellore District covered in Patta No.841, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

2. Heard, Mr.G.S.Vivekmani, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.A.Selvendran, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents.

3. The petitioner filed an application on 26.07.2021 to measure the boundary line comprised in Survey No. 62/2 of Tholapalli Village, Annaicut Taluk, Vellore District before the second respondent. The petitioner also paid requisite fee to measure the subject property.

4. Considering the above, the third respondent is directed to survey and measure the property, after issuance of notice to the counter parties and adjacent land owners, if any and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
