O R D E R
(Order of the Court was made by S.S. SUNDAR, J.) This contempt petition is filed to punish the respondent for wilful disobedience of the order dated 12.09.2022 passed in C.M.P.No.9666 of 2022 by the learned Judicial Magistrate III, Cuddlaore.
2. The case of the petitioner is that the petitioner has filed a petition under Section 156(3) Cr.P.C seeking for a direction to register the FIR against a private individual. The order passed in C.M.P.No.9666 of 2022 shows that the respondent was directed to investigate the matter and to register the FIR. The lower Court has also made an observation that the Investigating Agency, namely respondent should also follow the guidelines which have been laid down by Hon'ble Supreme Court in Lalithakumari's case [Lalitha Kumari Vs. Government of Uttar Pradesh reported in 2013 (6) CTC 353].
3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor on instructions submits that the complaint of the petitioner was registered in Cr.No.421 of 2023 on 07.10.2023. The learned Prosecutor has also produced the copy of FIR registering the complaint of the petitioner before this Court.
4. In the said circumstances, recording the submission of the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this contempt petition is closed.
