ORDER

The petitioner has filed this Writ Petition praying for a Writ of Mandamus seeking direction to the first respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 24.03.2025 and dispose of the same within a stipulated time.

2. The petitioner has been working as a Sweeper at Jambai Town Panchayat, Salem, on a temporary basis since 2001. She was orally terminated from service on 19.06.2013 without any notice or reason. The Labour Court, Salem, ordered her reinstatement, which was subsequently upheld by this Court. Despite the orders, the respondents have not taken any action to reinstate her. Hence, the present Writ Petition.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has made a representation to the first respondent on 24.03.2025, seeking reinstatement of her into service, in accordance with the Labour Court's orders. However, no action has been taken by the respondents. Therefore, the petitioner prays this Court to direct the respondents to consider her representation and dispose of the same within a stipulated time frame.

4. The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the first respondent submits that the first respondent is willing to dispose of petitioner's

representation as per the direction of this Court

5. Heard both sides and perused the records.

6. In view of the above submissions, this Court directs the first respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 24.03.2025 and dispose of the same in accordance with law within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
