The prayer sought for in the present writ petition is to call for records of the 2nd respondent in his proceeding No.D2/3070/07/M, dated 15.07.2008 and quash the same.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner contended that the writ petition has become infructuous and prayed this Court to dismiss the Writ Petition. He also made an endorsement to the following effect:

"The writ petitioner has already attained Superannuation with all retirement benefits, therefore, nothing survives in this writ petition to agitate, therefore, this writ petition may be dismissed as infructuous."

3. In the light of the above submission and the endorsement made, this Writ Petition is dismissed as having become infructuous. No costs.

Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
