The Criminal Miscellaneous Petition has been filed seeking to condone the delay of 598 days in filing the appeal which has been preferred challenging the order of conviction and sentence in Spl.S.C.No.47 of 2018 dated 28.11.2018 on the file of the learned Mahila Court, Cuddalore District.

2. Since, the petitioner/accused is in jail and the reasons stated in the accompanying affidavit filed in support of the petition are satisfied, this Court is inclined to condone the delay. Accordingly, the condone delay petition is ordered.

3. The Registry is directed to number the above Criminal Appal, if the papers are otherwise in order.
