Respondent Appeal filed under Clause 15 of the Letters Patent, against the order passed by this Court in W.P.No.7957 of 2016 dated 04.04.2016 directing the respondents 4 and 5 to award additional/bonus marks to petitioner for the services rendered in the rural area as per clause 38 of the Prospectus for admission in the Post Graduate Degree/Diploma Courses for the academic year 2016-2017 and revise the rank list for the counselling for admission to post Graduate Courses for the academic year 2016-2017.

JUDGMENT

(Made by HULUVADI G.RAMESH, J.) This appeal has been filed by the Government against the order passed by a learned single Judge of this Court in W.P.No.7957 of 2016 dated 04.04.2016, wherein this Court directed the appellants 4 and 5 to award additional / bonus marks to the respondent herein for the services rendered by her in the rural area as per Clause 38 of the Prospectus for admission in the Post Graduate Degree / Diploma Courses for the academic year 2016-2017 and to accordingly revise the rank list for the counselling for admission to Post Graduate Courses for the academic year 2016-2017.

2.Today, the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the appellants has submitted before us that the respondent has got admission for the said course in the academic year 20152016 itself and hence the matter in this appeal has become infructuous.

3.Recording the above submission made by the learned Special Government Pleader, the writ appeal is dismissed as infructuous. No costs. Consequently the connected miscellaneous petition is also dismissed.
