Respondents Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the first respondent to consider and dispose the petitioner's written representation dated 13.03.2025, consequentially direct the said respondent to revoke the name transfer effected illegally in favour of the second respondent with respect to the electricity connection bearing No.S.C.No.03-013-008-715 in Survey No.594/1B of Kumarapalayam Village and re-allot the same back to the petitioner.

ORDER

This writ petition has been filed for issuance of a mandamus to the first respondent to deal with the representation made by the petitioner on 13.03.2025, wherein the petitioner is seeking for revoking the name transfer effected in favour of the second respondent.

2. Heard the learned counsel for petitioner and the learned Standing Counsel for first respondent.

3. Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and considering the materials placed before this Court, there shall be a direction to the first respondent to deal with the representation made by the petitioner on 13.03.2025 on its own merits and in accordance with law, after affording opportunity to the second respondent, and a final decision shall be taken within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
