Respondents in both writ petitions Common Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ order or direction in the nature of writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to take action on the petitioner's representation dated 06.11.2017 and on the consequent fourth respondent Society's proposal dated 06.11.2017 & 29.01.2019 along with the Board Resolution for appointing petitioner as Sales Woman in Ikuntam Ration Shop & Seenivasapuram Ration Shop functioning under the Control of the fourth respondent Society.

C O M M O N O R D E R Since the prayers in the above Writ Petitions are one and the same, they are clubbed together and a common order is passed.

The case of the petitioners is that they have passed SSLC in the years 1994 & 1998 respectively and on 27.12.1995, the petitioners were appointed as Agents in Ikuntam Ration Shop & Seenivasapuram Ration Shop respectively, functioning under the control S5841 Jegadevi Primary Agricultural Cooperative Credit Society (hereafter as Society) Jegadevi (Post) parukur Taluk, Krishnagiri District and till date the petitioners have been working in the same ration shop as agents on the basis of payment of commission amount from Rs.4000/- to Rs.6000/- & Rs.4000/- to Rs.5000/- per month respectively.

The learned counsel appearing for the petitioners would submit that on 27.12.1995 the petitioners were appointed as Agents by the third respondent on the basis of proceedings of the Collector, Dharmapuri in order to encourage women members to come to public service from the backward District like Krishnagiri and hence the initial appointment of the petitioners as Agents in Ikuntam Ration Shop & Seenivasapuram Ration Shop respectively is regular one.

On 06.11.2017, the petitioners have sent representation to the fourth respondent requesting them to appoint as Sales Women in Seenivasapuram Ration Shop & Ikuntam Ration Shop respectively, taking into consideration of 24 years of service as agents in Seenviasapuram Ration shop & Ikuntam Ration Shop respectively.

It is also seen that there are 326 & 401 ration cards respectively which require full time job of Salesman and on the basis of petitioners' representation dated 06.11.2017, the fourth respondent addressed to the third respondent along with Board Resolution dated 06.11.2017 seeking necessary instructions to appoint the petitioners as Sales Woman in Seenivasapuram Ration Shop & Ikuntam Ration Shop respectively. But the third respondent has failed to take action on the representation dated 06.11.2017 and hence, these present writ petitions.

6. The learned counsel appearing for the respondents conceded the requests made by the petitioners. Since, the representations dated 06.11.2017 were not considered by the third respondent, the petitioners have filed this Writ Petition.

7. Without expressing any opinion on merits, I am inclined to issue a direction to the third respondent to dispose of the Writ Petitioners' representations dated 06.11.2017 within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

8. With the above direction, these Writ Petitions are disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
