This criminal original petition has been filed to direct the respondent to file a final report in Crime No.323 of 2016 before the concerned Court within a time frame.
2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the State.
3. When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent police submitted that investigation is almost completed and if six months time is granted by this Court, the investigation would be completed and final report would be filed by the respondent before the concerned Court.

4. Recording the same, the Criminal Original Petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondent police to complete the investigation within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and either file a final report or closure report, as the case may be, in accordance with law, under due intimation to the petitioner.
