ORDER
This Writ Petition is filed praying for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondent to grant permission and adequate Police protection to Awareness Propaganda Campaign Circuit to be conducted by the Indu Makkal Katchi Tamilagam from 20.07.2025 to 02.08.2025 in various places in Tamil Nadu, as per the schedule of campaign mentioned in the petition, by considering the petitioner's representation, dated 19.06.2025 within a time frame that may be fixed by this Court.
2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is the State General Secretary of Indu Makkal Katchi (Tamilagam). He made a representation before the respondent-Police on 19.06.2025 to the respondent requesting their permission to fix loud-speaker on the vehicle bearing Registration No.TN-66-W-8950 (Tempo traveller) and Innova bearing Registration No.TN-09-AV-7009 to perform propaganda/campaign about the awareness among the people in Tamil Nadu. Since there was no response from the respondent, the present Writ Petition is filed for the above-said prayer.
3. Learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondent submitted that, based on his representation, dated 29.06.2025 addressed to the respondent, they have given instructions to all the Station 2 / 4
House Officers throughout the State of Tamil Nadu and therefore, the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) prayed that there is no need to pass any specific order in this Writ Petition.

Hence, the petitioner is at liberty to work out his remedy in the manner known to law, if the petitioner is so aggrieved by the order of the respondent, dated 08.07.2025 in Na.Ka.No.10962839/Pothu.2(2)/2025, and it is also for the petitioner, if so accepted, to approach the jurisdictional Police Station as directed by the respondent in the said order dated 08.07.2025.
