ORDER
The petitioner has filed the present Writ Petition seeking a direction to the respondents 1 and 2 to give adequate police protection to the petitioner and her business running in the name of Ram Marketting at Door No.5, 3 rd Cross Street, Murugaram Nagar, Karaikal by considering her representation dated 26.05.2025
2. On a perusal of the writ petition, it is seen that from the pleadings that there was a dispute between the petitioner and her family members viz., her
brother and father. The petitioner is making allegations against his brother and father. According to the petitioner, she is carrying on business by name 'Ram Marketing' and the private respondents 3 and 4, namely, her father and brother are interfering with her business activities. Having regard to above said dispute, already a complaint and counter complaint in Cr.No.157 of20205 and Cr.No.158 of 2025 respectively were lodged by both sides against each other. In the circumstances, the petitioner has filed the present writ petition seeking police protection for petitioner and running of her business.
3. This Court is of the view that if really the petitioner's business is interfered by the private respondents, nothing prevented the petitioner from filing a suit against the private respondents seeking permanent injunction before the Court concerned.
4. However, in any event, if any law and order issue is created by the private respondents in future, it is open to the petitioner to approach the respondent police and complaint on the same, and on receipt of such complaint, the respondent police is directed to act as per law.
