ORDER

By consent, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

2.The petitioner's application for issuance of a legal heir certificate has been rejected. The status obtained from the e-portal only shows that it has been rejected based on Revenue Inspector's enquiry. Now, unless the petitioner is informed what this report is all about, he may not even able to project a case for his right to obtain the legal heir certificate. 3.Mr.S.J.Mohamed Sathik, the learned Government Advocate has taken notice for the respondent.

4.This Court now directs the respondent to provide the petitioner with a copy of the report of the Revenue Inspector within a period of two (2) weeks from today. 5.The petitioner is directed to work out his remedy after perusing the said report. 2/4

6.Learned Government Advocate also informed the Court that the Tahsildar, Egmore is a jurisdictional Tahsildar for the purpose. 7.This writ petition stands disposed of accordingly. No costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
