Prayer in WP.No.28863 of 2012:Writ petition filed under Article 226 of constitution of India seeking writ of mandamus directing the respondents to include the name of the petitioner in the panel as on 1.1.2012 for promotion as Tamil Pandit in the appropriate place therein and to promote him as such with retrospective effect from the date of promotion of his immediate junior with consequential benefits. Department dated 15.10.2014, fairly submits that nothing survives for adjudication in the present writ appeal, in view of the subsequent decision taken by the Government, whereby and whereunder, Government indicated that the two years Diploma in Teahcer Training, obtained prior to 1987 after passing 10th Standard, shall be considered as equivalent to +2 (Higher Secondary).

In view of the Government Order referred to above, nothing survives for adjudication in this writ appeal. 3.
