Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for issuance of a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus to call for the records relating to the order of the third respondent made in O.A/310/00521/2018 dated 08.10.2018 to quash the same and to consequently direct the respondents to appoint the petitioner's daughter on compassionate grounds.

(The Order of the Court was made by K.KALYANASUNDARAM,J) Heard Mr.L.Chandrakumar, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.P.T.Ramkumar, learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents 1 and 2 and perused the materials available on record.

2.One Selvarangan was working as a Technician, Grade III in the Southern Railways. On 05.09.2014, he died in harness. The petitioner, who is the mother of the deceased, submitted an application for providing employment to her daughter on compassionate ground. The application was rejected on the ground that the applicant was already receiving family pension of Rs.15,379/- and another sum of Rs.7,875/- as second family pension, altogether, she is getting Rs.23,254/- per month. Aggrieved over the same, the petitioner filed an Original Application before the Central Administrative Tribunal. 3.The Central Administrative Tribunal, taking note of the fact that the petitioner's daughter was already married and the petitioner was receiving pension, found that she is not entitled for compassionate appointment. It was also observed that after implementation of the 7th Pay Commission, the applicant will be receiving Rs.36,000/- per month. In the light of the above, we find no reason to interfere with the order of the Central Administrative Tribunal.

4.In such view of the matter, this Writ Petition fails and the same is dismissed. No costs.
