Writ petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for a Writ of mandamus directing the respondents to consider and dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 11.5.2009 to recognise M.D (M.A) conferred on him by the Open International University for complementary Medicines for purpose of practice and employment in Tamil Nadu.

ORDER

The petitioner has come up with the present writ petition for a mandamus directing the respondents to consider and dispose of his representation dated 11.05.2009 with regard to recognise M.D (M.A) degree conferred on him by the Open International University for complementary Medicines for the purpose of practice and employment in Tamil Nadu. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

2.However, when the matter was taken up for consideration, the learned counsel for the petitioner fairly submitted that due to efflux of time, the petitioner may be given liberty to approach the respondents with a fresh representation, claiming the relief as sought in this writ petition, for which, the learned Additional Government Pleader has no serious objection.

3.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, this Court disposes of this writ petition, granting liberty to the petitioner to submit a fresh representation along with the required documents to the respondents, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. On such submission, the respondents are directed to consider the same and pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks thereafter. No costs.
