This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to call for the records in C.C.No.152 of 2021 on the file of the Judicial Magistrate Court No.II, Truvannamalai and to quash the same.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioners and the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the first respondent-Police and perused the materials available on record.

3. Learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that they have assembled only in order to draw the attention of the Government about their grievances related to their service benefits. But the first respondentPolice had foisted a false case as against the petitioners. The offence committed is covered under G.O Ms.No.9 (Department of Personnel and

Administrative Reforms (K) dated 02.02.2021.

4. In view of the said G.O passed by the Government, C.C.No.152 of 2021 on the file of the Judicial Magistrate Court No.II, Truvannamalai is hereby quashed. The learned Magistrate is directed to close the F.I.R on that ground.

5. With the abovesaid direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
