The petitioner has come forward with this writ petition seeking to call for the concerned records from the first respondent and quash the order of the first respondent dated 12.07.2006 bearing Ref No.Per/P1/21952/2006 in so far as https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
transferring the services of the petitioner from Advanced Environmental Laboratory, Salem to District Environmental Laboratory, Tirupur and transferring the second respondent from District Environmental Laboratory, Madurai to Advanced Environmental Laboratory, Salem.
2. It is represented by the learned counsel appearing for the first respondent that during the pendency of the writ petition, the petitioner was promoted as Deputy Chief Environmental Engineer and he has been retained at Salem itself. In view of the developments which took place during the pendency of the writ petition, the issue originally raised in the writ petition does not survive and considering the same, the writ petition may be closed.
3. Accordingly, the submission made by the learned counsel representing the first respondent is recorded and the Writ Petition is closed. No costs.
