This writ petition has been filed to direct the fourth respondent to provide concrete house to the petitioner under KALAIGNAR HOUSING SCHEME (2010 - 2016) to the vacant site situated in Old No.51 A New No.26 Part/Serial No.198/61 Keezhakudi Village, Nannilam Taluk, Thiruvarur District, pursuant to the representation, dated 18/4/2022 given to the first respondent.

2. The case of the petitioner is that the respondents have come forward to provide a concrete house under KALAIGNAR HOUSING SCHEME (2010 - 2016). On the instruction of the fourth respondent, on 21/6/2021, the petitioner had demolished his hut. Thereafter, the respondents have not come forward to provide concrete house to the petitioner, instead they have provided to various persons who are already having houses. Hence, the petitioner had submitted a representation, dated 18/4/2022, to the first respondent. Since the same has not been answered, so far, petitioner has come forward with the present writ petition praying for the relief, as stated therein.
3. Heard Mr.M.Rajkumar, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, Mr.S.Rajesh, learned Government Advocate for the respondents 1 to 3 and Mrs.V.Yamunadevi, learned Special Government Pleader for the fourth respondent.
4. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, learned Special Government Pleader, appearing for the fourth respondent produced a letter, dated 15/9/2022 of the fourth respondent and submitted that the name of the petitioner has already been registered and his name is also uploaded in the Page No:3/6
website. He further submitted that application of the petitioner would be considered in priority and action will be taken, as expeditiously as possible.
5. Considering the submission of the learned Special Government Pleader, this writ petition is disposed of. The fourth respondent is directed to expedite the process in allotting the house, as expeditiously as possible. No costs.
